At 22:10 the ceiling light is too much and the phone is worse. Vesper puts a small moving flame on the table instead, about the size of a candle, and sends a thin cool mist up through it. The room stops being a room you work in.
What the flame actually is
Nothing burns. The flame is cool water mist lit from underneath, and it moves the way a real one does because the mist does. There is nothing to blow out, nothing to keep away from a curtain, and nothing that goes wrong if you fall asleep with it on — when the tank runs dry it switches itself off.
Worth knowing before you buy, because the photographs look like fire and some people want fire. This isn't that.
How the evening goes
- Fill the tank at the back. 120 ml, which is about five hours.
- Two or three drops of oil. A measuring cup comes in the box.
- One press for the mist, another for the flame. They are controlled separately, so you can run either on its own.
- Set one, three or five hours — or leave it and let the water decide.
Seven colours for the flame if you want them, or leave it on the steady warm orange, which is the one most people settle on.
What it doesn't ask of you
No app, no account, no wi-fi, no pairing, no filters to replace. It runs on USB at 5 W, and the cable is in the box.

Questions people ask first
Will it leave the table damp?
It is a cool mist, not a spray, and it disperses above the unit rather than settling around it. Keep it on a flat surface and not at the very edge, and empty and wipe the tank when you are done with it for the day.
Can I run it without essential oil?
Yes. Plain water gives you the mist and the flame with no scent at all, and the flame runs as its own thing if you would rather have the light without either.
Will it scent a whole living room?
No, and it isn't meant to. It is built for about ten square metres — a bedroom, a desk corner, a small bathroom. In a large open room you will see the flame and smell very little.

Thirty days from the day it arrives. Write to us through the contact page and we send a prepaid return label, so you are not paying to send it back, and we refund the full price of the product. It needs to come back unused and in its packaging — the full terms are in the refund policy.
